WEDNESDAY | INSPIRATION

A rainy day is perfect to play around with shapes and textures. The little black balls are Lakrids, a Danish specialty. We share our love for liquorice, not only the sweet kind, not only the salty one. But the whole spectrum of flavours. It’s, at first, an odd combination of mint, chocolate and liquorice. It took me a moment to decide if I liked the taste or not.. Now I love the marble-like black Crispy Choc Coated Liqs.
The beautiful tableware is from Menu, print Circles is designed by Seventy Tree and the stitched circle is a reminder of a inspiring lunch I had last week to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dutch interior magazine VT Wonen.
